Since its inception, Indian Council of Philosophical Research is having its Academic Centre and reference library at Lucknow. After its displacement from Butler Palace in 2005, the Centre was located in a rented accommodation provided by the PCF authorities. Recently, the U.P Government and Lucknow Development Authority have considered our request and allotted an accommodation for the Academic Centre and library at Vipul Khand, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow.

It has been decided to arrange an inaugural function of its new building on May 21, 2009. The function will be followed by colloquium of the Fellows of the Council. The Council has decided to bring out a special Newsletter/Souvenir which will be circulated among the distinguished invitees at the inaugural function and to all the universities in India. Approximately 2000 copies of the souvenir/newsletter will be printed.
